parislo.com Paris Lo HMONG SPIRITUALITY (Sudden Unexpected Death Syndrome) Las Vegas 2009 Hmong I have never experince the pushing of the chest, and I don’t want to know how it feels like, it’s scary….. my brothers are very brave to being able to over come it, in fact they are so brave now it’s nothing to them anymore. they avoid it and sleep right through the mean spirits. my dogs sleep with me, so in a way I always have company and eyes watching over me, but i know that if it does happen to me, i’ll deal with it, and over come it just like my family has. my older sister has never experience it either. when something strange happens, alot of people just think that they are crazy, but strange things do happen that we don’t have answers for, it’s like the wind, you can’t see it, but you feel it, you can feel that it’s there. I have this experience all the time. Google sleep paralysis. It is very very real and is experienced in all cultures.

thats why i now sleep with my little triangular shape that my grandma sewed for me. it has herbs and stuff in there to warn off the evil spirits. *shudder* never want to experience it again.

i have had this experience… it is the most freakiest and scariest things that i encounter.
this “thing” is what i call it. only comes when my husband leaves for work. and sits on me and paralyzes my body to where i can’t struggle out. until i do i get up from my bed and run into my toddler sons room for the rest of the a.m. it stayed with me for at least a couple of weeks. “damn” it was so scary.

I adore your bravery of sharing our culture with youtube! There is a medical term for this sudden death syndrome now, it’s all Sleep Paralysis. This condition is quite scary!

I remember hearing stories like that from them… I remember one about something floating over your mom too… scary. I believe it 100%.

i had that experiment too and its creepy cuz my dad just pass away in that same week…….but peps tell me its his shaomen spirits….still left behind…….not sure but yeah……

since i worked at night, we were surrounded by people…and my work wasnt that far away so i walked home everynight at around 9 or 10. the old lady said some dead homeless spirit just saw me at night and followed me home. So that’s everything…she ua neeb to send that spirit away…and i was alright. But i will never want to feel that pain again. Sorry it’s a long story…hope you dont mind. it’s my experience.

and she said, “your daughter lose too many weight in a very short period of time, there must be something wrong, and beside i see a shadow behind her.” I sudden i heard that, i cried out loud, ran to her and told her every of my dream… I just cried along with it…She hugged me, my mom was…like stun. she got angry becasue i didnt tell her sooner. well i didnt know that they would believe me. So they *ua neeb* to cure me.

then closer….maaaaaaaaaai Ntxhooooos…and closer and closer… until i could feel the breath right in front of my ear gasping…i waked up and it was another so real dream. Well, I thought nobody would believe me so, i didnt tell no one until one of my mom old friend came to visit us… and when she saw me, she gave me a look, then she said, “how come your daughter is so skinny now…pale too.” Well she’s kind of like the old lady who “ua neeb”…

Well i thought it was just dream…so i threw it off somewhere in the back of my brain, it hunt me sometime but i ignored…one night. when i was sleeping, i heard this voice…calling my name. i have so many names becasue when you’re young you cried alot or got sick and your parent changed your name. This voice actually called my first babyborn name which is Mai Ntxhoos… at first i heard it like very far away…maaaaai ntxhooooos….
